I don't really have much to say yet, but I suppose I could introduce the blog and my upcoming trip to the Emerald Isle.
The story really begins 3 1/2 years ago when I first heard about the Study Abroad: Ireland trip. At the time I was but a lowly freshman (as we were then called), and I was, therefore, ineligible to participate. That was the last time Prof. Conner led the trip. Until now! My time has come at last, so starting Sunday, April 25, 2010, I will be spending a glorious month abroad.
For the next four months, I'll be preparing for my journeys by studying the history and culture of Ireland in MC's Preparatory Reading for Study Abroad in Ireland class. The first class meets a week from this Sunday, so until then, enjoy this panorama shot of the Dingle Peninsula.
